Deanna Weber

My name is Deanna Weber.  I love teaching at Whitewater Valley Elementary.  This is my eleventh year teaching at WVE.  This will be my sixth teaching in second grade.  I grew up in Western Hills and graduated from Mercy High School.  I was a Miami Redskin before teaching first grade for five years at St. Catharine School.  Then my family moved to Harrison and I am lucky enough to work at WVE.

I am married to Robb, a Hamilton County deputy sheriff.  You may see him on tv sometimes working in a courtroom.  I also live with three other young men.  Jake is in sixth grade this year and just passed me up in height.  Nate survived last year with us and is in third grade.  He knows a lot of second graders.  And Rocky is my "squirt".  He started Kindergarten this year and would love to live in a Star Wars movie.  Instead, he lives with us right down the street from school with our dog, Lucy.

I have lots of hobbies but don't always have enough time to enjoy them.  But I try.  I absolutely love being outside, especially when it's hot!  I enjoy camping, exercising, and following my kids around to the sporting event of the moment.  Our family spends a lot of time on fields, courts, and mats.  When it's dark outside, we usually read or watch movies together if we aren't by our firepit.
